Today we welcome Jonathon Holder to Magnetic – joining us as Senior Consultant to lead the continued build-out of our contracting capability across infrastructure and asset-focused industries.

Jonathon has spent the past several years working closely with contractors, crews, and hiring leaders on the ground – delivering critical labour solutions into large-scale transport, civil, and utilities projects. His experience spans recruiting, mobilisation, and supporting workforce performance in environments where reliability, safety, and timing matter. It means he understands the pressures project teams face and what it takes to get the right people on site, fast.

Our move further into contracting is a natural progression for Magnetic. We already support organisations shaping the future of New Zealand’s infrastructure – and contractors are the backbone of that delivery. By strengthening our focus in this space, we can help our clients scale their operations, lift productivity, and deliver safe, high-quality outcomes across their programmes of work.

Jonathon is driven, well-connected, and passionate about supporting great contractors to do their best work. He’ll be working nationally from our Auckland office, collaborating closely with the wider Magnetic team to service civil, construction, asset maintenance, and project-led operations across the country.
