That’s why we’re excited to welcome Debbie Cathro to the team – a recruiter who brings a unique combination of industry knowledge, workforce development experience, and people-first thinking.

Before stepping into recruitment, Debbie spent over a decade working across industry training and vocational education. This gave her a deep understanding of how capability is built – from the systems that support learning and certification, through to the standards that shape technical excellence.

Since transitioning into agency recruitment three years ago, Debbie has carved out a niche in sourcing skilled professionals across high-spec industrial and scientific environments. Her work spans a wide range of technical roles which include mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to manufacturing specialists, quality and compliance leaders, applied scientists, and more. Many of these roles sit within complex, highly regulated industries where technical accuracy, hands-on experience, and cultural alignment are all critical.

Her strength lies in navigating these layers of complexity. Debbie brings clarity and confidence to every brief – working closely with employers to understand not only what’s required now, but what’s needed to build future capability. She’s trusted by candidates and clients alike for her grounded, thoughtful approach and her commitment to long-term outcomes.
